Lathom South Parish Council has a very open policy on council documents and we have included many of them on this page below. We have also adopted the model scheme titled Freedom of Information Act 2000 produced in accordance with section 20 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and will publish information in accordance with that scheme. The Act gives a general right of access to all types of recorded information, sets out exemptions from that right and places a number of obligations on local authorities. The information contained in each class may be available in a variety of formats on request from the clerk of the council using the "contact us" link. Reasonable charges may be raised for the provision of copies of the documents/information listed in each of the classes.

It is a legal requirement that all Councillors register their financial interests and make the record available to the public. In accordance with this requirement your Councillors interests can be viewed upon request to the Clerk.
